At Barnes Family Dentistry, our doctors and staff have provided complete dental care for all ages since 1995. But our highly skilled team cares for more than your teeth. Everyone works hard to ensure your visit is comfortable with excellent care. Our goal is to provide our patients with an enjoyable office visit. That’s why Barnes Family Dentistry employs a talented and compassionate team. All of our staff are CPR and OSHA trained.
Donna is a local and grew up in Surf City, NC. She currently lives in Hampstead with her husband and two sons. Donna received a degree in Dental Assisting from Cape Fear Community College. After graduation in the summer of 1995, she joined Barnes Family Dentistry. In the early 2000s, Donna took some time off to stay at home to raise their two boys. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking and going to the beach.
Mandy moved to the Wilmington area from Pennsylvania in 2017 with her husband, Justin, and their dog, Ernie. Since then, she has become a mother to daughter, Rylee. Mandy graduated from Fortis Institute in 2013 with an Associate’s Degree in Expanded Function Dental Assisting. Throughout the years, she has received additional training in Neuromuscular and TMJ, orthodontics and other specialties to further her knowledge. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and going to the beach.
Robin is a native of Wilmington, NC. She received her Dental Assisting Certification from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC and has worked as a CDA since 1987. She has been a part of the Barnes Family Dentistry dental team since 2008. In the fall of 2020, Robin retired from assisting and has moved to our front desk! Robin has been happily married over 20 years, has two teenage children and two dogs. She sings in her church choir, loves boating, and working in her yard.
Taylor grew up in the small town of Advance, North Carolina. She moved to Wilmington in 2013 to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and received a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in child development. She later received her A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Cape Fear Community College in June of 2020. Taylor’s interest in the Dental Hygiene profession arose from her mother being a long time Dental Assistant. She provides gentle and compassionate care to make dentistry a positive experience for all patients. In her free time, she enjoys boating with her fiancé, beach walks, and spending time with family and her two dogs.
